DQ’s giveaway is one of several back-to-school restaurant deals that you might want to keep on the radar. September is an especially hectic time for families, what with the start of the school year and saying goodbye to the relaxed days of summer. So many restaurants offer special promotions to create goodwill—and hopefully, to get folks in the habit of swinging by for food in the mad rush to get dinner on the table.
Among the other deals: Chipotle is giving away free kids’ meals on Sundays with each full-price adult order throughout September, and kids eat free at IHOP with an adult entrée purchase from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. every day through September 25.
