Chipotle Is Giving Out Free Burritos to Nurses—Here’s How to Get Yours
Chipotle Mexican Grill is honoring nurses with an incredible BOGO deal that includes free burritos and more on June 5.
Nursing is a career that's not for the faint of heart. It involves long hours, demanding work, and a practically limitless supply of compassion. Often, it involves burnout, too.
Chipotle is proving it's never too late to honor nurses for their tireless dedication. On June 5—a full month after Nurse Appreciation Week—your favorite Mexican food chain is saying thank you the best way it knows how: with free burritos.
The one-day-only BOGO deal will be available at all Chipotle locations in the U.S. and Canada. All you need to do is buy one entree of equal value and show your work ID, and Chipotle will throw in a free burrito, bowl, salad, or even an order of tacos. The promotion is open to all types of nurses, including RN, NP, CRNA, CNS, CNM, LVN, CNA—but you must redeem your tasty reward in-store, so delivery orders don't apply.
This isn't the first time Chipotle has honored unsung civil servants with freebies. On May 8—coincidentally during Nurse Appreciation Week—the restaurant handed out free burritos for Teacher Appreciation Day, in similar BOGO fashion, to faculty members and anyone with a school staff ID.
Is there honestly a better way to celebrate professionals who go out of their way to make the world a better place than by giving away free food? Probably, but we'll take the burritos.
