Hali's Simple Green Salad

  • 1 large head of romaine lettuce, cleaned and chopped into 2 to 3 inch pieces

  • Himalayan sea salt

  • Fresh cracked black pepper

  • ½ tablespoon red wine vinegar

  • ¼ cup blue cheese dressing

  • 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced

  • 1 small fermented carrot, sliced

  • Sprinkle of Parmesan


  1. In a large bowl add the lettuce and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. Drizzle over red wine vinegar, and with clean hands, toss until coated.

  3. Drizzle over blue cheese dressing; toss to combine. Taste and season with additional salt and pepper as needed.

  4. Transfer salad to bowls. Top with sliced cucumber and carrots. Sprinkle over Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
