I make this about once a month, as written, except I add about a cup more water. Delicious!
I tried this with the brown rice. It was deliciious. I put in 2 cups of broth to match up the amount of liquid in the directions to cook the brown rice and cooked it for 30 minutes to 45 minutes instead of the 15 minutes. I will definetly make this again. It was very delicious and easy.
I always substitute brown rice in recipes. Brown rice always takes longer to cook & more liquid maybe needed.
Have not tried as of yet. But can/how would I use brown rice instead of white rice.
