Fancy Pigs in a Blanket
Quentin Bacon
Try this crowd-pleasing recipe using your favorite variety of store-bought sausage, like apple and roasted-garlic chicken sausage. Try more appetizers that use puff pastry:
How to Make It
Step 1
Heat oven to 400° F. Cut the sausages in quarters lengthwise, then in half crosswise. Cut the puff pastry into strips 3 inches long and 1 inch wide.
Step 2
Roll the sausage pieces in the pastry strips and transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake until puffed and golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with the mustard for dipping.

Aw, I'm disappointed ... this isn't really a recipe, but a suggestion on how to put two pre-packaged products together. In the interest of cooks who like to cook, might I suggest that the recipe for puff pastry be put up, with a remark that pre-packaged could be substituted?

pamela1973....don't get mad @ Real Simple - it's your pc that's causing the problems....upgrade your system with current spam blockers. Also, the site is in business to make money....they're banking on you buying things as a result of those pop-ups.......did you think these recipes, etc come without a price tag???
