If you can't find kefir, use plain yogurt; ground ginger stands in perfectly for the turmeric. Ingredients 1 cup plain kefir ¾ cup bottled coconut water or tap water 1 ½ cups frozen mango chunks (from a 12-ounce package) 1 cup frozen, very ripe banana slices (from 1 banana) ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric Pinch of freshly ground black pepper Pinch of kosher salt Directions Combine all ingredients in a blender, starting with kefir and coconut water. Process until smooth, about 1 minute. Rate it Print
