Recipe Summary
Crostini sounds so elegant, but they’re really just little pieces of toast with something tasty on top. There are no wrong answers when it comes to making crostini, but I usually incorporate some sort of cheese (the salty creaminess pairs perfectly with toasted baguette), plus something sweet and flavorful, like jam and/or fresh fruit or herbs. This Manchego and Fig Jam Crostini requires just four ingredients and can be made in under 25 minutes.

To enhance the rich, toasty notes of the crostini, feel free to add toasted walnuts to your serving dish or sprinkle over top of the toasts.
