This is a regular in our meal rotation. It is very tasty. I halve everything (for 3 of us) and use italian chicken sausage which makes is much less greasy and healthier. I also use whole wheat sweet potato gnocchi and a little extra cheese!
Great meal. Even the kids loved it. I will lessen the cheese next time and increase the spinach. I hope they still like it.
This is a very tasty meal. I would halve the sausage and increase the spinach. Or if you want to feed more people, keep the meet the sameandincreasethe gnocchi and spinach.
My family requests this meal all the time. When my daughter comes home from college it is one of her top requested meals! Easy and so good.
This is really more like 8 servings - I halve everything in the recipe but the spinach. And then I triple the garlic. =) It still feeds four, easy. This is especially great with hot italian sausage.
YES, to the person below. Target has ground italian sausage with no casings-- inexpensive and easy. I'd reccommend doubling the amount of gnocchi, spinach and onion! You can either feed more people or have amazing leftovers...it was so good we didn't have any left...!!
It's extra delicious if you use hot italian sausage instead.
Easy and delicious. I wasn't paying attention and only added about half as much Parmesan as the recipe calls for, but it was still fantastic.
This recipe is delicious; of course, any dish with onion, italian sausage and garlic is awesome. (If you feel adventerous, try making your own gnocchi.)
