- 1/2 small white onion, chopped
- 3/4 pound tomatillos, husked and washed
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
- 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- Kosher salt
- Rinse the chopped onion in a colander under running water; drain. Combine with the tomatillos, cilantro, lime juice, and ¾ teaspoon salt in a blender. Puree until smooth.
