Read MoreThis recipe is SO EASY, and very versatile--you can use different bread, different cheese or variations on the ham. This is a very commonly requested meal from my husband. I have made it so many times. My only advice--don't go overboard on the wine, it will turn out soggy. Also, mincing the onion helps, sometimes it's not so fun biting into one of those big onion pieces.
