I really liked the flavor but I added lots of garlic, leeks and pepper.
This recipe makes much more than 4 servings. It is more like 8 to 10. If you add meat, skip the dill and add another spice or herb that works. Also- if you put sour cream in hot soup it separates/curdles. Not fun. Personally, I don't think you need it.
This recipe is amazing!!! The best soup I've made in awhile. Whole family loved it! I will be making it again.
Substitutions I made:
Squirt of lemon juice instead of white wine vinegar, 4 c. Vege broth and 2 c. Chicken broth, .5 lb cooked ground chicken, lots of pepper
While I loved there idea of this soup, it needed a lot of doctoring up. I added thyme, salt, cracked pepper and thickened it up with cornstarch. Not sure I like the sour cream. My family loved it. Just need more substance to it.
