This is delicious! I substituted salmon for the ham. Tuna steak will do great too. Oh and I topped it with mozarella cheese.
This has been part of my rotation for a few years now. I usually substitute feta for goat cheese, just because I can never find goat cheese when I need it. I also add flour to thicken the sauce (I use 1% milk so the sauce is thinner). It's one of my favorite make-ahead week-night meals.
