How to Make It

Step 1

Bring 8 cups of water to a boil and pour into a heat-safe pitcher. Add the sugar, stirring until it is completely dissolved. Add the tea bags and let steep for 10 minutes. Remove and discard the bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature. Before serving, stir in bourbon, if desired. Serve over ice in tall glasses and garnish with sprigs of fresh mint.
