When it comes to shopping for new clothes, finding the right pieces that are comfortable, within your budget, and reflect your style can be a challenge. That's why so many of us rely on Instagram, Pinterest, and now Tiktok to grab images of inspiration so that we can mirror those elements in our wardrobe. But the search for those aspirational products can prove to be difficult and, oftentimes, time consuming. That's where this genius Amazon feature, StyleSnap, comes in. It quickly analyzes the fashion in a photo and populates the products as soon as you say when.

Once I discovered StyleSnap, I was eager to try it for myself. So, how does it work? After you've found an image of an outfit (or even elements of an outfit) that you like, head to the StyleSnap page on Amazon, click the "Upload a Photo" button, and wait for StyleSnap to work its magic. In seconds, StyleSnap's technology populates products that are similar to those in the photo––and the service is totally free to use.

Take this outfit from plus-size fashion blogger, Allison Teng, for example. After screenshotting this photo of her outfit on Instagram, I uploaded it to StyleSnap and waited just a few seconds for similar product recommendations. I was able to shop nearly her whole outfit, including an almost identical dupe of her blue dress, a similar woven purse, and a comparable pair of her white sandals. It's almost too easy.

Inspirational images don't just have to come from a social media site, though. They can come from anywhere, whether you're walking down the street and see a sweater you like, or you're flipping through a magazine and see a pair of earrings you need to add to your collection. You can still snap a photo, upload it, and watch StyleSnap find a similar product.

Using this clever feature can also connect you to Amazon's other convenient services, such as free two-day shipping for Prime members or Amazon's Try Before You Buy option, which lets Prime members try on clothes for seven days before purchasing. You only pay for what you keep, and shipping—including returns—is always free.

If you're in a style slump, I highly recommend giving StyleSnap a try and allowing yourself to be inspired.
