Whitney Port Reveals the Skin-Detoxing Face Mask She Swears By
Plus, the product she uses for glowing skin.
Recently, Whitney Port has been spilling her beauty secrets on both Instagram and her blog. In January, after detailing her skincare routine on a Facebook live, fans repeatedly requested the list of products she used, which she finally shared on her blog for readers to shop. Since then, we've been keeping an eye out for Port's other go-to products, and yesterday on her Instagram story, she revealed another favorite: The Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask ($52; sephora.com).
The steep price tag may make you pause, but if Port's amazing skin (proof, above) is any indication, it seems to be worth the cost. Gentle enough to use on all skin types, this soothing gel mask is designed to hydrate and detoxify dry and irritated skin (which is probably exactly how your face feels after surviving a harsh winter).
On her Instagram story about the mask, Port also shared the best storage tip when she captioned the image: "Most refreshing face mask! I keep it in the fridge!" Note to self: Start using this face mask now to heal dry winter skin, but keep it in the fridge for extra-refreshing facials this summer.
And while she had our attention, Port decided to drop one more product she loves: Embryolisse Concentrated Lait Cream ($25; amazon.com). According to the caption on her Instagram story, this is her "go-to product for glowy skin." This moisturizing face cream has multiple uses. Not only can it be applied to dry skin as a moisturizer, but it also works as a cleansing cream (similar to a French version of Glossier's Milky Jelly). When you're done detoxing in your cooling cucumber mask, apply a generous layer of this light moisturizer for that Whitney Port-approved glow. Consider your weekend plans set.
