It turns out the Duchess of Sussex and the queen of well, everything, have more in common than just their noble ranks. In fact, Meghan Markle and Beyoncé are both fans of a bestselling beauty product celebrated for its ability to protect, soothe and moisturize even the most sensitive of skin types.

During a recent interview with E! News, Meghan's longtime friend and makeup artist Daniel Martin dished on one of the products responsible for boosting her royal wedding glow. "A lot of my highlighting is done with skincare," Daniel, a Dior Brand Ambassador and Honest Beauty Creative Color Consultant told the news outlet. "Before highlighters, you would do highlighting with Aquaphor—it will give you that same texture, especially in a photo [when applied] on the high points of the face."

Face lotion? As a highlighter? The concept sounds almost too good to be true. But Daniel isn't the first to praise Aquaphor for it's radiance-boosting abilities. Once upon a time (eight years ago, to be exact), Beyoncé credited the cult-favorite drugstore find for her flawless complexion. "I go to bed looking totally greasy," she told ELLE of slathering her face with the cream on the regular. "It's not glamour all the time."

All beauty-inducing benefits aside, Aquaphor's affordable price point won't set you back like a pricey highlighting palette would. Add it to to your getting-ready routine by purchasing a tube ($5 at Amazon.com), and prepare to wake up looking like royalty.
