Burt's Bees Moisturizing Lip Mask

Just in time for dry, cracked lip season—also known as winter—Burt’s Bees has taken hydrating lips to a whole new level by launching a lip mask. It’s like a sheet mask for your lips and we never knew we needed it until we tried one. Known for their hydrating (and addictive) lip balms, the masks use similar ingredients like meadowfoam seed and almond oils but in a bigger dose for a major shot of hydration.

Peel off the mask and smooth it over closed lips—yep, no talking! Scroll through Instagram or Pinterest and wait at least five minutes before you peel it off. You can also leave it on longer if you’d like. Press in any excess serum and your set! I love applying it before wearing a mattifying lipstick since they tend to be drying and can accentuate lip lines. The mask helps plump out my lips and leaves them smooth and ready for lipstick.

They’re disposable and only cost $2.99 so you won’t have to feel guilty about your spa night in. For an extra treat, and to help the moisture get in, try a lip scrub before applying the mask. Simply mix equal parts sugar and water or vaseline and gently massage into lips until it’s melted. Rinse off excess product then smooth on your mask.
