Prepare to look well rested!
“You look tired” might be one of the worst things someone can say to me. In my book, they might as well have said, “you look terrible.” Since we can’t add an extra hour to the day or run away from all of our responsibilities, we're all destined to get those dreaded bags under our eyes every once in a while. But that's where eye cream comes in. The hydrating beauty product is no miracle worker, but it'll certainly help keep skin looking supple—even if you didn't manage to get a good night's sleep.
Over the years, we've recommended some stellar eye creams, but there's a new product that's catching our attention. Though it only just launched, the new belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb ($48; sephora.com) was the best-selling eye cream at Sephora.com last week.
Formulated after the brand’s best-selling Moisturizing Bomb ($38; sephora.com), this creamy yet super lightweight eye cream goes on silky and cool so it’s extra refreshing—especially on mornings when you’re feeling a little puffy. The ingredient list contains two herbs—comfrey leaf and pennywort—that help boost hydration and elasticity to give the delicate skin around the eyes the boost it needs.
Apply it after your moisturizer by massaging it in with your ring finger—the weakest and, therefore, gentlest finger—then tapping until it’s fully absorbed. As a bonus, the cream also acts as a primer to help your under-eye concealer last longer without creasing or clumping. Need a pick-me-up between work and dinner plans? Dab this around eyes (on top of concealer) for a quick refresh.
