Valentine's Day is coming y'all, as if you could forget. And that's all well and good, but I think that this holiday is the perfect excuse to throw YOURSELF a little extra love. To quote Hailee Steinfeld, "I love me, gonna love myself" has become my unofficial anthem for the month of February. There's not a damn thing wrong with that. And while I might not be writing about the more *explicit* interpretation of the song, I will be indulging in some luxurious baths.

How better to say "I love me" than with a rose-scented bath to end all baths? I scoured the market for all of the most luxurious rose products to take a nice soak in, and friends, I think I have found the perfect recipe for a statement of self-love.

First things first: candles and a beverage of some sort are essential. It sets the vibe. I chose the Olympia Le-Tan Rosaviola Limited Edition Diptyque candle ($67; net-a-porter.com), which is a fresh blend of rose and violet and absolutely lovely. As for a bevvy, it was either Kusmi Rose Green Tea ($18; us-en.kusmitea.com) or a nice glass of red wine, depending on the time of day, of course.

While drawing the bath, I made a point to drop in about two or three caps full of Jo Malone London Red Roses Bath Oil ($65; nordstrom.com). It smells heavenly and is ultra moisturizing. Win win. And then, I just settle in with my book of the moment and sit in my tub until the water has gone cold or my entire body is pruned.

Once you're out of the bath, I highly suggest following up with a hedonistically indulgent dose of moisture. I'm talking a body oil AND a thick body cream to follow up. My choice? Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Massage & Body Oil ($68; net-a-porter.com), which is made of an intoxicating blend of rose, neroli, geranium, and evening primrose oil. The smell is intoxicatingly sexy and your skin will glow. Once that has absorbed, quickly follow suit with Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Body Velvet ($87; net-a-porter.com). The name hits the nail on the head. I firmly believe that if Marie Antoinette were alive today, she would go through a tub of this a week. It's like rubbing whipped creamy heaven all over yourself. This cream contains velvet flower extract to help retain moisture and collagen boosting Gotu Kola oil, which helps improve elasticity and firmness, but that's not all. The scent itself, which is comprised of rose, geranium, and sandalwood, is uplifting and mood improving.

This velvety, buttery tub of heaven also contains tripeptides to reduce fine lines and aloe vera to soothe the skin. So really, it's the ultimate treat. And your limbs, they will be so silky smooth that you won't be able to resist a nice graze across your own arms and legs... and neither will your significant other, dare I say it. You'll be feeling sexy, to say the very least. Now go forth and luv yourselves, because you deserve it every day— not just on Valentine's Day.
