If you like the smell of: Soap, a straight-from-the-dryer cotton top, or the ocean air (on a good day).
Then try: A mist of Tocca Aqua Profumata Amalfi (top, $38, tocca.com). It smells of a light sea breeze, mint, apples, and lily of the valley. Or apply Marc Jacobs Cucumber Splash (bottom, unfortunately this product is no longer available, but find similar items onmarcjacobs.com). The generous bottle (a whopping 10 full ounces) contains the clean, cool fragrance of―you guessed it―cucumbers and can be sprayed on bed linens to freshen them, too.

Light and Citrusy
If you like the smell of: Squeezed orange juice, lemons, or anything from an herb garden.
Then try: Several invigorating spritzes of Caudalíe Fleur de Vigne Fresh Energizing Fragrance (top, $36, caudalie.com). This vitamin-rich mist hydrates skin and scents it with mandarin, lemons, and grape blossoms. Or sample Roger & Gallet Bois d’Orange Fresh Fragrant Water (bottom, $39, roger-gallet.com for stores). It holds the fragrance of basil, orange blossoms, lemons, and cedarwood.

Soft and Floral
If you like the smell of: Fresh-cut flowers, jasmine, violets, or garden roses.
Then try: A splash of Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Fragrant Waters Wild Honeysuckle (far right, unfortunately this product is no longer available, but find similar items onbathandbodyworks.com). It smells of honeysuckle, as well as jasmine and violets, and has the sweetness of honeydew. Or consider Hermès Eau de Pamplemousse Rose (right, $165, hermes.com). Less on the sweet side, this beautiful cologne gives off the refined scent of roses combined with grapefruit.
