Emily Ratajkowski’s Makeup Routine Only Takes 5 Minutes–Here’s Exactly What She Uses
Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski’s makeup look is low-key and easy to do yourself.
If there’s one person you can trust on quick makeup tips, it’s Emily Ratajkowski. The model, actress, and girl’s girl recently shared a few key pieces of advice to looking fresh for date night or every day in five minutes or less using products everyone will love.
“I’ve been obsessed with makeup for a really long time, but I just started getting really good at it maybe three years ago,” Ratajkowski said in a video for Vogue as she explained her quick and easy makeup look. “My husband [calls it] finger painting.”
To kick off her makeup routine, Ratajkowski explained she preps her skin by cleaning and moisturizing. Then, she begins with Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Foundation ($44; charlottetilbury.com), which she applied with her fingers because it helps her “blend more seamlessly.”
Ratajkowski then moves on to her enviably-full brows, which she brushes upward and out using Maybelline’s Great Lash Clear Mascara ($5; amazon.com)–a product we've actually covered before for its surprising versatility.
“I don’t feel like a normal person unless my eyebrows are brushed up,” Ratajkowski noted. “There’s nothing sadder than an eyebrow when it’s smushed down.”
To finish her look, Ratajkowski puts a dab of Milk Makeup’s Highlighter stick in Champagne Pearl ($24; sephora.com) on her nose and cheekbones and sweeps just a touch of rosy color on top with a stick by Mary Phillips and a dab of bronzer by Charlotte Tilbury on her cheeks and forehead. This way, she explained, she looks naturally sun-kissed.
To add just a touch of glamour, Ratajkowski adds a bit of taupe color to her eyelids and a touch of Glossier Lash Slick ($16; glossier.com) to her eyelashes, making sure to pay special attention to the outer corners. Finally, she puts on just a dab of Marc Jacob’s Le Marc Lip Crème ($30; sephora.com) in deep brick red J’Adore to her lips to complete the barely-there look.
And with that, you'll be selfie-ready for your own 19.5 million Instagram followers, too.
