Drew Barrymore leads a busy life as a main character in the Netflix show "Santa Clarita Diet," the founder of cosmetics company Flower Beauty, the face of beauty and fashion lines, an ambassador for the UN, and a mother to two daughters–just to name a few things on her plate. As someone who's always in the spotlight, though, she doesn't really have the same luxury as us anonymous tired people whose dark circles will be seen by only a handful of officemates (who are apathetic to our appearance anyway).

Barrymore is always in the spotlight, so she has a few tricks up her sleeve when it comes to getting rid of dark circles under her eyes. This week, the 43-year-old actress is sharing a few of her beauty tips and tricks on her Instagram using the hashtag #beautyjunkieweek. So far, we've seen her use aloe to reduce the redness of a bug bite on her face, drink beauty elixirs, and showcase some products and brands she's into.

Today, she posted all about the bags she sees under her eyes, revealing an army of skin-care products she employs. She explains, "I have really dark circles. That's my problem. I don't have lines as much as I look the crypt keeper. I love laugh lines. Can't wait for more. But dark circles are a problem, because it looks like instead of being impossibly happy throughout my life, I look more like a ghoul who came from the graveyard!"

After trying a variety of creams aimed at combating dark circles under her eyes, Barrymore discovered a common thread in what worked and what didn't.

She says, "The key is to find a more pigmented eye cream. Rarely, but certainly some times, clear has worked. But I often find white tinted and ones with a light pearl or pinky tone."

Some of the products in her post appear to be the Omorovicza Reviving Eye Cream ($145; Sephora.com), HydroPeptide's Eye Authority ($41.79; Jet.com), and a Kate Somerville eye cream that's currently out of stock–but the brand offers an Age Arrest Eye Cream ($75.00; Sephora.com), and the Wrinkle Warrior Eye Gel for "erasing" dark circles ($60; Sephora.com), among other skin and eye-care products.

The A-lister also uses a product from the renowned Japanese brand SK-II, which is probably most famous for its Facial Treatment Essence ($99; Sephora.com) and offers a range of under-eye treatments for younger-looking skin, like the Ultimate Revival Eye Cream ($195; Sephora.com) and the RNA Power Anti-Aging Eye Cream ($135; Sephora.com).
