This Neutral Color Is Jessica Alba’s Go-To Nail Polish
And it’s perfect for any occasion.
Jessica Alba is spilling her beauty secrets. Last month, the mom of two and founder of the Honest Company talked to PeopleStyle about her eight beauty essentials. And while she has an entire brand of safe, eco-friendly beauty products, she trusts one product line from across the pond for her nail needs.
Her go-to polish is Butter London’s Patent Shine 10X “Yummy Mummy.” The opaque, sand-colored tone goes well with almost everything, and the 36-year-old actress highly recommends it.
“Their colors are consistently great, but this is one of my favorites,” she told PeopleStyle of the $18 product, now available on Amazon.
You can also find other affordable beige-hued polishes to get Alba’s look with a (slightly) lower cost. We suggest Essie’s “Jazz” or “Miss Fancy Pants” (both $9), China Glaze’s “Desert Escape” ($8) or Zoya’s “Avery” ($10).
When she’s looking to add more color to her fingernails, Alba opts for a deep navy. In a 2014 interview with Cooking Light, the beauty mogul talked about her infatuation with vegan nail brand Priti NYC.
“For a working mom, manicures are a rare moment to stop and be still,” she said, calling the company’s top selling “Schwarkopf” polish ($15) her favorite from the line. “I love the colors and consciousness of this non-toxic nail polish.”

A few of Alba’s other must-have products? She said she also loves the Tweezerman Promaster Lash Curler ($18), Joya Composition No. 1 Roll On Perfume ($30) and NOW Organic Lavender Oil ($16), among others.
