Hint: It’s not denim!

Complete with a trendy cropped hem and curve-hugging silhouette, these chic jeans are nowhere near what you’d call “trash.” But believe it or not, they’re made from exactly that.

Offered in a variety of colors and washes (including a crisp white and lovely pink—perfect for spring), Walmart’s new Time and Tru High-rise Skinny Jeggings are composed of a recycled fabric called Repreve, which is made by breaking down plastic water bottles and blending them with cotton for a smooth, denim-like finish. The result? A pair of jeans that is not only high quality but environmentally friendly, too, so you can look and feel good about wearing them.

Another plus? Unlike many other eco-friendly options, these won’t put a damper on your wallet, considering they’re less than $17. Head to your local store or Walmart.com now to nab a pair in your favorite hue, and keep an eye out for boot cut and skinny styles from Time and Tru, which will be available in July.
