With the tagline “Good days start with great jeans,” Madewell is committed to helping its shoppers finally find their favorite pair of jeans. And with the brand's recent announcement that it will be expanding its denim size range, now even more customers will be able to find their perfect pair.

Before the announcement, Madewell and J.Crew denim sizes went up to size 32, but they have now added sizes 33 to 35, along with a brand-new “curvy” jean style. The “curvy” jeans are now up for grabs on in three gorgeous washes (careful, you’re going to want one in every color): there’s a dark navy “Lucille wash,” a deep “black sea wash,” and a light blue “Ontario wash.” The Ontario wash comes with light distressing on the knees, giving them a casual-cool look that will earn them a permanent spot in your weekend wardrobe.

So, what exactly is a “curvy” style jean? According to the description on, the company has taken its popular skinny jean and “reengineered them for those with an hourglass shape (translation: booty).” Each pair also features what Madewell calls “Magic Pockets,” which are designed to hold you in for a smooth look, yet still offer some stretch so you can stay comfy. And for those who prefer the classic skinny jean style—this goes-with-anything pair will quickly become a staple in your weekly rotation.

Ready to find your dream jeans? You can start shopping Madewell’s new curvy jeans now, and certain styles are already available in the extended sizes on But shop fast—we’re noticing that sizes 32 through 35 are already starting to sell out.
