Gap Sculpt Jeans

I never thought that my favorite pants would be a pair that promised to “sculpt” my body in any way, but when I first slid on these Gap Sculpt skinny jeans, I knew that I never wanted to buy any other pants again.

The fabric fits so comfortably; you feel like you’re getting a little hug all day. They're technically considered shapewear, but you don't feel restricted while wearing these pants—at all. I recently wore mine to an orchard to go apple picking and felt comfortable all day long. And, as a bonus, I never had to wriggle my pants up around my waist—the fabric didn’t stretch out as the day went on.

When I wore them into the office for the first time, one of my co-workers asked what leg workouts I had been doing. Her jaw dropped when she found out I hadn't changed my routine at all. The illusion of slimmer, fitter legs was all thanks to my new pants.

The pants—which are now on a weekly rotation in my wardrobe—are now available in a variety of colors and denim washes, so they really can be the only pants I have in my closet. There's a rosy pink that's right on trend, a forest green that makes the perfect addition to a cold-weather wardrobe, and a classic black for everyday convenience. They even come in regular, tall, and petite sizes. Pick up whichever pair you think will fit best in your closet—and don’t be surprised if you find yourself back at Gap buying some more.
