If you’re already a fan of Anthropologie’s trendy yet eclectic mix of clothing and accessories (and, of course, beautiful home decor, too), you might also be familiar with its previous lack of sizes in some of its most sought-after looks. While shopping for your own body type is hard enough, tack on the issue of not having your size in a store that you’d love to shop in, and it can get pretty frustrating. I myself have had to transition to shopping in only a certain few stores because sizing can be all over the place these days. But thanks to Anthropologie’s new plus collection, APlus by Anthropologie, a wider range of women no longer need to feel that frustration while shopping at the retailer.

With 68 percent of American women wearing a size 14 or above, I’m glad major fast-fashion names like Anthropologie are adjusting and extending its clothing options. You can now shop 120 different styles in sizes 16W to 26W when previously only sizes 00 to 16, as well as petite sizes, were offered. You can find APlus in a new plus section on, which makes it super easy to find plus jeans, plus dresses, and even plus shapewear (praise be to the fashion gods!). And get this, the clothes are actually some of the prettiest plus-size styles we’ve seen in a while. What’s different about this size-inclusive launch is that it’s more of an extension of Anthropologie’s fashion, meaning that two women, size two and size 18, can be wearing the same exact piece—just like this pair of sisters’ adorable story!

What’s also refreshing about this introduction of plus-size clothing at Anthropologie is that it’s not as if this is a completely separate line with different, plus-specific styles like some companies introduce. Anthropologie has adjusted its current styles for everyone—in all sizes. The brand’s technical designer Karen Wilkins said it best when describing APlus: “Each and every piece is thoughtfully tailored with women’s real proportions in mind.”

But one of the best things about APlus just might be the different colors, patterns, and textures included in the new spring 2019 styles. I’m currently obsessed with chambray and muted natural tones, like mustard hues and deep, sandy-like reds, and you’ll find a ton of that in this fun (and much-needed) launch. Right now you can shop the the full range of APlus styles in 10 store locations as well as online at Below are some of our favorite pieces you can shop now!
