I'm a DDD—These Are the 5 Best Bras for Big Boobs
I have searched far and wide for the best bras for my big boobs, here’s a look at the best-fitting and my go-tos.
Bra shopping used to make me cry. I am not kidding, I would be in a dressing room and get so frustrated at the choices I had that the only logical thing for 14-year-old me to do was cry. Middle school was fine for me in terms of bras; Victoria’s Secret and Gap were my go-tos. Then one day in high school, I grew boobs.
I knew it was going to happen–big boobs run in my family–but I wasn’t expecting them to get that big. My favorite VS and Gap bras no longer fit, and they no longer made bras in my size. I had to go to department stores with my mom and buy what I liked to call "grandma bras"–ugly tan bras with thick straps and lots of coverage. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I found bras that fit me that actually made me feel confident and sexy.
It has taken me a long time to curate this collection of the best-fitting bras, but it was well worth the time spent. These are the five best bras I've found and what I reach for almost every day. They are versatile, comfortable and, most importantly, they are actually kind of cute!
Natori Feathers Underwire Contour Bra
This is my go-to fun bra. I tend to stray away from brightly-colored bras because everything you wear them under has to be completely opaque (unless a bright pink bra showing through a white t-shirt is your thing!). However, when I first bought this bra, I could not stay away from the bright blue color it came in at the time. It is my only colorful bra, and it is one of my favorites (I also have it in tan, because duh). The lace gives it a sexy feel, but the support is out of this world. This bra is perfect for low-cut tops, or anytime you want to feel super sexy under your clothes.

Chantelle C-Ideal Underwire T-Shirt Bra
When I saw this bra in the dressing room, I didn’t think much of it. The seaming on the cup looked like it would dig into my skin, and a bra with a bow has never worked under a t-shirt for me. I tried it on because the woman helping me insisted, and boy am I glad she did. This bra is one of the most comfortable I have ever owned, and it is the first one I reach for when I am wearing a t-shirt of any kind (tight, loose, low cut, crew neck).

Panache "Porcelain Elan" Convertible T-Shirt Bra
This bra may not look like much, but I promise you it is something special. When you put it on, the material glides over your skin and conforms to your curves in the best ways. This convertible option feels like you are wearing nothing and gives the most amazing shape under absolutely anything.

Natori Pure Allure Full Figure Underwire Contour Bra
As I write this piece, I am wearing this very bra. The straps are sitting comfortably on my shoulders, not digging in and not falling off. The cups are molded to my chest, giving me a great shape, and I can’t even feel the band in the back because it fits so perfectly. This is a perfect everyday bra, and the bit of lace makes it feel just a little special, so your day can start off with a boost of fun.

Passionata by Chantelle Feel Good Underwire Plunge Bra
This bra is the one I reach for whenever I am wearing something low-cut. The plunge hits at the perfect spot so that there is still maximum support for the girls but also enough room for sexy shirts to do their thing. On top of being a great cut, this bra is crazy comfortable and has pretty mesh detailing on the sides.
