Laura Kristine Miller

Laura Kristine Miller is a senior editor in the home and gardening ecommerce space for Real Simple and Better Homes & Gardens. She was formerly an editor and strategist for subscription and services content across Meredith Corporation's websites. Prior to moving to digital content, Laura was an associate editor of Refresh magazine, which was a Better Homes & Gardens special interest title. There, she realized her passion for helping people fall in love with their homes again through decor perk-ups, buying guides, home tours, and light DIY projects. Laura's home-focused work has been published in the following magazines: Do It Yourself, Living the Country Life, Storage, Before & After, Secrets of Getting Organized, Dream Kitchens & Baths, Flea Market Style, Tuscan Style, Remodeling Room by Room, and Makeovers.

Laura graduated from Drake University with a B.A. in magazine journalism, English, and history and a marketing minor.

When Laura's not writing, you can find her tackling a home project with her husband, practicing yoga, burning through novels, or attempting to train her un-trainable cat, Hazel.
