Katie Holdefehr

Katie Holdefehr is a senior editor at RealSimple.com, where she combines her love for home decor (she's always down to talk about paint colors!) with her writing and editing skills. She is the host of the cleaning video series Spotless and has made appearances on Good Morning America, Today, and Cheddar as a home expert. Before joining Real Simple, she was an associate editor at Apartment Therapy, where she became well-versed in reversible decor for rentals and small spaces. She also spent three years at Martha Stewart Living, writing feature stories, dyeing Easter eggs, and decorating snowy Vermont barns for photo shoots. She graduated from Vassar College with a B.A. in English. When she's not writing, you'll find her installing wainscoting and hanging up gallery walls in her 90-year-old Brooklyn apartment.
