Jenna Helwig

As food director of Real Simple, Jenna leads the magazine’s food coverage with the philosophy that food is one of the very best parts of life, but preparing it doesn’t need to be complicated. Prior to joining Real Simple, Jenna was the food director at Health and Parents magazines, and in addition to editing and writing inspiring, informative content for print, Jenna has represented the brands in sponsored videos, at events, and on panels. Outside of Meredith, Jenna is the founder and operator of Rosaberry, a boutique personal chef services company that works with clients in Manhattan and Westchester, and she is the author of five cookbooks including the forthcoming Bare Minimum Dinners. Jenna has a culinary arts degree from the Institute of Culinary Education and lives in Brooklyn with her husband, teen, and adorable dog Pepper.
