Alabama

Eligible Items: Clothing (up to $100 per item), computers (up to $750), school supplies (up to $50 per item), books (up to $30 per item).
Dates: August 5 to 7

Arkansas

Eligible Items: Clothing (up to $100 per item), clothing accessories (up to $50 per item), items normally sold as school supplies.
Dates: August 6 to 7

Connecticut

Eligible items: Clothing and footwear (up to $100 per item, custom orders place and paid in full during the week (up to $100 per item).
Dates: August 21 to 27

Florida

Eligible Items: Clothing, footwear, and accessories (up to $60 per item), school supplies (up to $15 per item), items sold at theme parks, entertainment complexes, hotels, and airports are still taxed..
Dates: August 5 to 7

Georgia

Eligible Items: Clothing and footwear (up to $100 per item), school supplies (up to $20 per item), computers and computer accessories (up to $1,000).
Dates: July 30 to 31

Iowa

Eligible items: Clothing and footwear (up to $100 per item).
Dates: August 5 to 6

Louisiana

Eligible Items: Most tangible personal property ($2,500 or less).
Dates: August 5 to 6

Maryland

Eligible Items: Clothing and footwear (up to $100 per item).
Dates: August 14 to 20

Mississippi

Eligible items: Clothing and footwear (up to $100 per item).
Dates: July 29 to 30

Missouri

Eligible items: Clothing (up to $100 per item), school supplies (up to $50 per item), computer software (up to $350 per item), personal computers and peripheral devices (up to $1500 per item), graphing calculators (up to $150 per item).
Dates: August 5 to 7

New Mexico

Eligible items: Clothing (up to $100 per item), school supplies (up to $30, $100, $200 per item depending on the type of supply), computers (up to $1,000), computer equipment (up to $500).
Dates: August 5 to 7

Ohio

Eligible items: Clothing (up to $75 per item), school supplies (up to $20 each), school instructional materials (up to $20 each).
Dates: August 5 to 7

Oklahoma

Eligible items: Clothing (up to $100 per item).
Dates: August 5 to 7

South Carolina

Eligible items: No price limit for clothing, accessories, footwear, school supplies, computers, printers, computer software, bed linens, and bath accessories. Jewelry, cosmetics, eyewear, wallets, watches, and furniture are taxable.
Dates: August 5 to 7

Tennessee

Eligible items: Clothing (up to $100 per item), school supplies (up to $100 per item), computers (up to $1,500 per item).
Dates: July 29 to 31

Texas

Eligible items: Clothing, footwear, and backpacks (up to $100 per item), school supplies (up to $100 per item).
Dates: August 5 to 7

Virginia

Eligible items: Clothing and footwear (up to $100 per item), school supplies (up to $20 per item), products that meet Energy Star and WaterSense qualifications (up to $2,500 per item), Hurricane preparedness items, like portable generators (up to $1,000 per item), gas-powered chainsaws (up to $350 per item), chainsaw accessories (up to $60 per item), and other eligible items (up to $60 per item).
