Hi, Bookies!

I’m Krissy Tiglias, one of the deputy editors of RealSimple.com and your February 2013 discussion leader. Here on the site, I oversee the home and organizing and holidays and entertaining channels. I also handle all of the weddings content. I hope you’ll check out our brand-new Weddings channel: We’ve partnered up with the site Lover.ly to bring absolutely gorgeous wedding photography to RS.com. These photos—which showcase actual weddings, like these—are so much fun to browse through (whether you’re getting married or not; who doesn’t love photos of a beautiful wedding?).

The last time I led a NOBC discussion was in September 2011 (in case you missed it, we read Laura Hillenbrand’s Unbroken), and I’m absolutely thrilled to be back this February. The votes are in (hooray!) and it looks like we’ll be diving into Will Schwalbe’s The End of Your Life Book Club.

I’ve heard so many great things about The End of Your Life Book Club and think it’ll be the perfect book for getting us through this short winter month.

Here’s the schedule I’d love for us to follow together:

For Friday, Feb 8: “Crossing to Safety” through “People of the Book”

For Friday, Feb 15: “I Am Sorrow” through “The Year of Magical Thinking”

For Friday, Feb 22: “Olive Kitteridge” through the end

I hope to see you back here on Feb 8. Until then, happy reading!
