50 Books Real Simple Readers Love
I was 23, a college graduate, and had been assigned to read it twice before (in high school AND college) and had dodged it both times, reading just enough to pass any essay test. I hated reading, despite the fact that I work as a writer and an editor. I’m not sure what clicked, but I have never been without a book on my bedside table since then. I felt like I had an awakening that day. —Claudia King Taylor

I was 13. It has everything: supernatural, romance, overcoming obstacles. I fell in love. —Audrey Rose Weiss
It was the first time I came across my name in print and I have been hooked on reading ever since. —Cathy Smith Troutt
