Don’t assume anything — ask instead! For example, find out who is responsible for setting up (and cleaning up) the decorations, and whether there’s a time limit on how long your guests can boogie down. Ask if you can hire your own vendors or whether you must use the venue’s caterer and florists. And don’t forget to ask about service charges (or you might experience sticker shock when the party’s over!)
