Cleaning Wrought-Iron Outdoor Furniture
Wipe with a clean cloth dampened with a mixture of water and a mild dishwashing detergent, such as Ivory. Rinse by hosing down.

Care Tip: Wrought iron can rust in inclement weather, so use vinyl furniture covers or bring the furniture inside. To remove rust, lightly sand the affected area and wipe thoroughly with a clean cloth. Then apply touch-up paint, which is generally provided by the manufacturer, or ask for paint suggestions at a hardware store.
