Problem: No Privacy
You’re looking for some quality tub time without having to bathe in the dark. How can you let the sunlight flow without attracting Peeping Toms?

Solution: Blinds with Tilting Slats
Adjustable blinds allow you to customize the view (yours and the one offered to passersby). Try styles with an easy-to- adjust pull cord that slants the slats at exactly the angle you want them, from wide open to tightly shut. Wooden blinds add a touch of warmth but probably aren’t the best choice for a bathroom, where moisture can cause damage over time. Faux wood, as shown here, achieves almost the same look without the same worries.
To Buy: Wood Essence blinds in golden wheat with cloth tape, $117 (36 by 60 inches), www.greatwindows.com.

Tip: Contrasting twill tape, available in assorted colors, lends a decorative touch to basic blinds.
