15-Minute Workout Plans
When you’re constantly dealing with time crunches, who has time for stomach crunches? Think fast.

By working out in 15-minute bursts, you can get your heart rate up, stretch, and strengthen your muscles all in the comfort of your home (or, in the case of walking, on the sidewalk). And that little bit of exercise can go a long way toward improving your health. Even people who exercise for less than 30 minutes a day can reduce their risk of dying from any cause by 20 percent, compared with those who don’t exercise at all, according to a recent study from the University of Cambridge, in England.

Try adding one of the following workouts to your day, or mix it up and do a different one each day of the week: Hop on an exercise ball, practice yoga, do strength exercises, walk briskly, jump rope, and watch those little bursts add up to big gains.

The Workouts
  • Exercise Ball Workout
  • Yoga Workout
  • Strength Workout
  • Walking Workout
  • Jumping Rope Workout
