My training for and completion of Ironman Switzerland 2005, a triathlon.
What’s your favorite place in the world?
So far, Zihuatanejo, Mexico.
What’s the quality you least like in others?
Poor grammar.
What makes you laugh?
Bathroom humor and gross noises.
Who was the naughtiest kid in your elementary school, and what did he or she do?
No question Michael. He used to flip his eyelids inside out and scare everyone. He used to pick his nose like crazy, too.
If you suddenly came into $1,000 in spare cash, what would you do with it?
Spare money is always spent as follows: Half of it would buy a plane ticket somewhere, and the other half would pay down my car or the mortgage on my condo.

Organizing and helping others throw things away that they no longer need.
What’s your go-to dinner?
I’m a little crazy for pizza any kind, really, from traditional pepperoni to Peking duck.
Simplest pleasure?
Planning travel of any kind.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
Being at a holiday party with my then new boyfriend in a sweater that was way too warm for indoors. I was sweating buckets but trying to impress all of these new people, which, of course, made me even more nervous and sweaty. I completely panicked and had to go into the bathroom multiple times to try to cool off.
What’s your favorite item in your wardrobe and why?
I have this white tailored sundress that always makes me feel fresh and beautiful.
If I had a free hour, I would…
Have a long talk with my older sister in Germany to try to make her come home sooner.

“The Distance,” Cake
“You Oughta Know,” Alanis Morissette
