The Game: Othello
Number of Players: 2.
Play Time: 30 minutes.
Ages: 8 and up.
To Buy: $10, www.mattelgamefinder.com for store locations.

Great For...
Introducing kids to strategy games. Playing Othello requires thinking ahead, to imagine what consequences your moves could have a few turns later. The rules are easy, so this is a good way for kids to learn.

How It's Played
Choose a disk color (black or white). On the board, flank a row of white disks with your black ones, and you’ll get to turn the white disks over to black. Then your opponent can do the same to you. When the board is full, the player with the most disks showing wins.
