Step 3
Lay the garment on a clean white (or light-colored) towel, gently smoothing out wrinkles; if it has long sleeves, be sure to leave space between the sleeves and the body. Roll up the towel and press down on it to absorb the water. If the garment is still very wet, repeat with a dry towel. Place the garment on a drying rack. If you drew an outline before washing, fit the garment into the silhouette and either leave it there to dry or gently transfer it to a rack.
