Step 2
After two to five minutes of twirling, drain the water out of the basin, holding the garment in. Fold the fabric over and gently press it against the basin's side to squeeze out excess water. (Wringing can be harsher on fabric than the average spin cycle.) Refill the basin and repeat, rinsing until any suds and slickness in the water are gone (lingerie may not need a double rinse). Avoid rinsing under running water, which can stretch delicate fabrics.
