of HeatEatReview.com, a website that rates microwave meals. Abi Jones, a nonprofit worker based in Washington, D.C., started it when
she realized that eating these meals every day to save money had made her an “accidental expert.” Jones’s and her colleagues’ reviews, covering 39 brands, are both entertaining (“the refried beans…gave off a frightening odor that further terrified my cube-mates”) and informative (“this entire meal tasted like ginger”).
