Trainers Kacy Duke and David Kirsch suggest additional arm-friendly activities.

Tennis: The fast pace and the range of motion make this an excellent option. It targets all areas of the arm with each stroke.

Yoga: Many poses, such as upward-facing dog and others used in sun salutations, develop the biceps and triceps and promote shoulder strength and flexibility.

Swimming: The freestyle and the breaststroke give the shoulders, the back, and the chest a solid workout.

Rowing: Pulling oars works the triceps, the biceps, the back, and the abdominals.

Cross-Country Skiing: Each swish of the arms and push-off with the poles works the shoulders, the triceps, and the biceps.
