    If well wrapped, everything will last at least 3 months.

    Bread Crumbs: Freshly made crumbs are always better, but canned bread crumbs keep longer.

    Chives: The chopped chives sold in tubs can be used in place of scallions or green onions or as a garnish.

    Lemon Juice: Look for it near the frozen orange-juice concentrates. It's real juice — not concentrated, not sweetened.

    Peas: Bags are easier to reseal than boxes.

    Spinach: A box of frozen chopped spinach can be cut with a serrated knife and the unused portion stored in a Ziploc.
