Spring Entertaining Trends: Think Pink...and Green!

Pinkandgreen_1

The combination of pretty pinks and fresh greens is a tried-and-true color palette that just screams "Spring!" Perfect for everything from Easter to Mother's Day to just celebrating the new season, it's a spring entertaining trend that never goes out of style. I love the idea of combining the pretty green Emma Dinnerware pictured above with a vibrant Azalea Table Runner and Azalea Hemstitch Napkins from Social Couture.

Pinkandgreen3 One of the easiest ways to incorporate this color combo into your next party is by using fresh fruits and flowers. Check out this gorgeous centerpiece that Floral designer Thierry Chantrel created for a garden wedding in Rutherford, California. {Photo by Meg Smith}

This is actually super easy to recreate at home. Just fill clear glass vases with green fruits like Granny Smith apples and limes, then add fresh pink-and-green florals such as peonies, dahlias, or hydrangeas.

More fun ideas to celebrate with this palette: pretty drinkware from Anthropologie and spring-y cocktails, of course! Pictured below: Giddy Glass stemware and pink Fleur-de-lys glasses from Anthropologie, plus classic and watermelon margaritas garnished with slices of lime.

I have my baby's baptism and Mom's 60th to plan in April. Some of these ideas would be beautiful for both! Thanks!

I absolutely love the pink and green theme and how it keeps coming back around. My recent wedding featured these colors and I can't get over how everything popped in photographs. I work with tons of brides who love these colors and I'll pass this blog on!

A well-done Spring theme, Jennifer. The color palette is fresh, modern and cute. Like you said: Perfect for everything from Easter to Mother's Day.

I absolutely love the classic line of the Emma dinnerware set. It looks festive. Earthenware provides the right look when you entertain with kids. But you can dress up that dinnerware whenever necessary.
