The main ingredient of a successful dinner party isn’t an elaborate three-course spread it’s good company.
Five years ago, one California couple, Michelle Rizzolo and Philip Wojtowicz, began hosting a Sunday potluck dinner involving simple, fresh dishes and a dozen or so friends. Explains Rizzolo, “Everyone brings to the table what they happen to have,” whether it’s the main course, a knack for entertaining children, a willingness to do dishes, or an offer to host the next gathering (the location changes each week).
The following recipes all from the Wojtowicz's casual Sunday dinners may well inspire your own weekly get-togethers. "Even if it’s just cheese and bread," Wojtowicz says, "it’s never not fun."
