Question:
What can I use or do to treat my extra dry heels and feet?
Emily Jones

Answer:
To combat dry, flaky feet, look for a cream with an alpha hydroxy acid, such as lactic acid, which will slough off dry skin. A foot cream with an extra-strength moisturizer, such as mineral or castor oil, also helps to draw in water and prevent it from escaping. Also, your method and diligence count: At night, after washing your feet and gently patting them dry, apply the cream and put on cotton socks before heading off to bed. If dryness persists, see your dermatologist.
RS Pick: Aveda Foot Relief ($18 for 125 ml, www.aveda.com)
