What is your most cherished family tradition?

To celebrate our German heritage, my family observes Saint Nicholas Day (December 6) by hosting a party at a local women’s and children’s shelter. During the year, we have a garage sale and save our change to purchase gifts to bring. We also provide plenty of sweet treats, cocoa, and holiday music. In this way, we are able to bring smiles to many faces while teaching our little boy about giving to others.
