What is your most cherished family tradition?
Since I was 13, we have had a kids’ table at Christmas dinner with our extended family. Now that I, the youngest, am 25, we “kids” still sit at our very own rickety table in the foyer off the dining room. When our babies are old enough, we’ve decided, they will have a kids’ kids’ table. None of us want to give up this day when we can revert to being “the children” and whisper and joke about our parents and their antics from the safety of our own table.
